Teddy is a lovely friendly boy with a big purr but he is a bit shy when he first meets you. He loves a fuss and he would suit a quiet home with older children. Ideally a pet free home as we don’t know his history.

A lovely lady looked after Teddy who appeared as a stray in June 2023, taking up residence under the garden bench. She did everything by the book to locate an owner.  She contacted our branch for help because she was concerned he would struggle with winter. Our volunteer trapper had no problem collecting Teddy and, not surprisingly, he turned out to be as far from feral as possible!

A few words from the lady:
"The stray cat does try and come into my house to take my cat’s food. Every morning it sits scratching at my door and crying to come in.
I really don’t know what to do, I do know this poor cat cannot live outside under my garden bench during the winter. Along with my neighbour, we have given it a little food each day."

Teddy was already neutered so is clearly somebody’s pet. We’ve had him microchipped and vaccinated and he’s got a clean bill of health.
