Orion and Fern are Pawz for Thought's odd couple looking for a home together.

Orion arrived at Pawz as a very battered old boy who had been on his own on the streets for a long time. He was unneutered and had some horrible wounds. He has healed and cleaned up lovely. He allows us the odd tickle under his chin but bats us with his paw when he's had enough. He has always been friendly towards other cats. Fern arrived as a feral older kitten who hadn't been used to any human interaction. She is over 7 months old now. She kept escaping from her own pen and going to sit beside Orion's pen. After a few escapes we gave in. She wanted to be with Uncle Orion so we put them in a pen together. Fern is happy with Orion but isn't interested in being stroked by people yet. They will need a patient, loving home where they will be given a lot of time to come around. They are happy together and we would like to home them together.
