ARC - The Ashmore Rescue for Cats
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: West Midlands
Zara
NOW REHOMED
If you follow us on fb you may remember some weeks ago we had a beautiful little cat come into rescue along with her newborn baby.
Zara had been thrown into a shed while in labour by her owner which resulted in one kitten getting fatally injured as he was born!
Zara was really quite unwell and needed vet treatment just after arriving.
She had a bit of a dodgy tummy every so often but nothing that made me majorly concerned.
Her surviving kitten however really struggled and just two days before Zara went to be spayed she sadly passed away.
She had never particularly grown much and was a sickly little baby, she was obviously too precious for this world...
Zara headed off to the vets to be spayed ready to start her search for a forever home.
However things didn't go to plan! The poor girl has been diagnosed with FELV which was the last thing we wanted to hear.
Felv is a horrible illness and quite often fatal in no time at all.
Zara is doing really well though so she deserves a loving home even if it turns out to be for a short time.
We are looking for a very very special person who is willing to give this beautiful girl a wonderful indoor home where she can enjoy what time she has -
sometimes cats can do amazing and go on for years but whoever takes her on must be prepared in case she only has a year or two.
Zara deserves a home and someone to love her, she's a beautiful gentle natured girl and really shouldn't be spending what time she has such in rescue.
(Info in second photo taken from The Willows veterniary hospital website)
If you feel you can offer Zara the home she deserately needs and truly deserves please send your full address, contact number plus a little info about your home/family life so that a homecheck can be arranged.
Homechecks are via video call at the moment.
She needs a strictly indoor home with no other cats due to the risk of passing FeLV on. No young children I'm afraid simply because there is more chance of her accidently being let outside
We ask for a minimum donation of £75 for EACH cat or kitten which only goes part way towards the treatment and care they receive while in rescue
