Wonky Pets Rescue
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Derbyshire, West Midlands, Warwickshire & Northamptonshire
Jasper is a 3yrs old black and white male, he is now neutered, microchipped, flea and worm treated and had a first vaccination, he will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

Poor Jasper was handed into us in a real state, he had been suffering with flea dermatitis for a long long time and his skin was covered in sores and scabs and very infected, His coat was completely threadbare too but now the infection has gone it is slowly starting to grow back. He will need regular ongoing flea treatments in his new home to make sure he never gets in this state again.

Jasper has a head tilt which his previous owner said he has had since a kitten, our vets thoroughly checked him out and he has no ear infection or other neuro signs so it may have been an old injury that happened to him as a kitten, it causes him no issues.

Jasper has not had a great start to life and was very much left to fend for himself a lot of the time we feel, he is very scared being in rescue and will take some time and patience to settle into a new home and needs someone who can take their time building his trust and confidence and then watch him blossom. He soooo deserves some TLC after all he has been through.

Jasper is eating really well, he was so thin when he arrived and had only been fed cheap biscuit, he now LOVES his wet food and good quality dry food, he did have an upset tummy on arrival as he was eating so much but the sensitive food we popped him on has settled his tummy down now.

He has been good with the litter tray.

Jasper is used to living with several other cats and could easily live with another gentle spayed female cat in his new home, he is petrified of dogs and is too shy to live with children.

He will need a home AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS with a safe garden that he can play in once fully settled in which may take a few months.

Jasper is being fostered in Swadlincote and can be rehomed within an hours radius, you cannot visit the rescue during lockdown but we would bring him to your home. A homecheck and adoption donation of £70 applies.
