Annie
Annie is around 10yrs old calico and white female, she is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated.
She has a clean bill of health now and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

Annie came to us from the streets of Birmingham where she had been left to stray for a long long time,
the poor girl was skin and bone with a really awful long standing eye infection that had caused a nasty ulcer
in one eye, she had bad teeth and was just generally unkempt bless her, she had obviously been having it tough for
some time before a kind soul got her some help.

Annie was understandably wary on arrival as well as being in a lot of discomfort with her eyes and she really wasnt going
to let us apply drops into her eyes despite our best attempts (weirdly she was really good with the vet letting her examine her multiple
times though!) We resorted in the end to a strong oral antibiotic and pain relief which she readily gobbled up in her food
so it was all much less stressful for her and we are pleased to say that her ulcer finally healed. She does still get some weeping
in her eyes and you can see she is a bit stained still but there is no longer any infection and the long term damage probably means
she will always have a degree of this. Now she is much more comfortable and trusting she will let us clean her eyes for her without too
much protest.

She has also had a dental with us with some teeth extractions but her mouth is all fully healed and she must feel so much better.

Annie is a small cat with a big personality, she is a typical tortie who knows her own mind and whilst she is friendly and enjoys a fuss
things are very much on her terms and she will let you know when she has had enough, she is a brilliant little cat though who will make
a great girl for an experienced cat owner. We are sure she will be sooooo very grateful to finally be back inside a home as we think its
been a while since she has had a sofa to share.

Annie absolutely loves her food, particularly her wet food which she always gobbles up, she has 3 pouches a day and is still on the slim side.
She will soon let you know when its meal times and food is definitely the way to this girls heart.  She has been good with the litter tray here.

She really isnt that keen on other cats and will protest at first but she is currently sharing with a placid male cat here and they just
dont interact and keep themselves to themselves. She really doesnt dogs but could live with older children aged 12yrs and over. \She would
be best in a quieter home.

Annie will need a home with a nice garden WELL AWAY FROM ANY BUSY OR FAST ROADS where she will be able to go
outside safely once fully settled in but we really dont think she will go far at all after being out for so long.

Being fostered in Swadlincote but can be rehomed further afield subject to homecheck and adoption donation of £90
