Gravy
Male Prime (2-6 years)
Hello hoomans! My name is Gravy. I'm a loving boy searching for my furever home after I was found wandering the streets all by myself. I had a nasty wound on my back when I was found so I was taken to the vets who fixed me up real good! They did however discover I have this funny thing called FIV. Now I know this sounds a bit scary but I want to tell you that it's really not! I'm a healthy boy (just a little bit scruffy) and all it means is that I need to be an indoor only cat as there's a small chance I can pass it on to other cats and I'm also at a higher risk of catching germies from other kitties out in the big wide world. But don't worry, I can't pass it on to you hoomans at all so you can give me lots of fuss, attention and headbumps please! You can read all about FIV here https://www.catchat.org/index.php/fiv and the hoomans here will also let you know everything you need to know about it. I also need to tell you that while I've been here I did get a blocked bladder. That was quite scary and made the hoomans here really worried but it soon got sorted with a diet change and a reduction in stress (ie, I went to live in a foster home with no other cats around, and got all the attention I deserved!) So I do need to be on a special diet forever, but it's quite widely available, and the hoomans here can explain a bit more about it too. Now you know all that lets tell you all about ME! As I say, I'm a lovely boy who's always after some fuss and attention - please be aware, the way I say 'hello' is to sometimes put my teethies on you, I'm gentle with it and I don't mean any harm, it's just a little quirk I have! I can also get a bit grumbly and growly from time to time but it's all talk! I just really want your attention but I do think I would be better off in a home without any small hoomans, dogs or other cats. I know I won't be allowed outside but seeing as I've lived outside for a long time I might get a bit frustrated with being indoors all the time so if you have anything like a "catio" that's nice and secure but I can still feel the fresh air on my whiskers I think that would be amazing!! However my fosterer says I have settled really well inside and am doing okay with just being able to sit on the windowsill and see what's going on outside. I also love my food and I will definitely let you know when I'm hungry - the hoomans here say I've got one of the loudest "MEOWS!" they've ever heard! I would realllyyyyy love for you to hear it so purrlease look for the blue "Reserve a Cat" button on the website and fill in an application. You will need my name and reference no. which is 249/22. I can't wait to hear from you! x x x x x
