Male Prime (2-6 years)
Hi peeps, I'm Jeff, aren't I gorgeous! I'm here at YCR after I was living as a garden cat for a while, being looked after by some wonderful folks, but sadly their cats just didn't want me around. Now, I'm a gorgeous boy to look at but as you'll find out I'm not one to be smothered with love! I'll be happy with you around, and once we make friends I might accept cuddles or a stroke on my terms, but I'm not all that likely to be a lap cat. In fact because of my history, I'm probably going to want to spend a lot of time exploring the great outdoors since that's what I'm used to, so if you've got somewhere with a lot of fields or a barn that needs de-mousing I reckon I'd be great at that.
 
I'm also ever so slightly cross-eyed, which gives me a bit of a goofy look! But it doesn't bother me, aside from a slight bout of cat flu - but it's nothing to worry about. The hoomans here can tell you all about it. I've met other cats before and I think the main reason I didn't get on with them was because they didn't want me around - I might be fine with another cat if there were careful introductions, and due to my cat flu they would also need to be fully vaccinated. I definitely don't want to move into a really busy house though. I've never met dogs so can't tell you how I'd do with them, but I probably wouldn't do well with kids, especially not any under 12. And I definitely definitely definitely need to go outside please (once I'm settled that is) So, do you have the perfect home for an outdoorsman like me?
