Amy
Little Amy is one of four kittens born to Luna on May 22nd. Very sadly, though, one of Luna's babies was born dead. It happens, and it's heartbreaking every time. Amy knows nothing of sadness though, unlike her poor mum who had been abandoned when the people who should have loved and cared for her treated her harshly and then moved house, leaving her alone and confused, and not even spayed. Fortunately, Luna was fed and cared for by two neighbours who called me at the end of April when Luna was heavily pregnant and she came into our care. So, what can I tell you about Amy? Well, her foster mum tells me that Amy may well be the only girl in the litter, and she may be the smallest, but she's full of confidence and makes sure her two brothers, Bradley and Teddy, know who's in charge. She's just adorable, absolutely full of mischief and is very happy to give and receive lots of fussing and pampering. Quite right too. A girl born with statement whiskers like those has to know how stunning she is and make the most of all the attention she duly deserves. Amy and her brothers have had their first set of vaccinations and will be available for adoption after they've had the second set around August 21st, at which point they'll also be microchipped. Amy would love a home where there's already at least one other cat already in the family for her to play with and torment and access to a safe outdoor area once she's older, very well settled and had her spaying op. Kittens have to be at least 2kg to have their neutering/spaying ops and if these babies aren't heavy enough to have their Big Girl and Big Boy ops prior to being homed then we do ask for proof when the ops have been carried out by their new families.
