Sorrel
Sorrel was found wandering the streets, heavily pregnant, and it soon became clear that she had been abandoned. Given that she's estimated to be maybe around two years old and cats can go into season from as young as four or five months, it's highly unlikely this was Sorrel's first pregnancy. She gave birth safely in our care and, despite having been so badly let down by the people she (possibly) trusted, she's such a sweet girl who just loves to be fussed, and she certainly passed her gentle nature onto her babies. Sorrel's a slightly built wee girl, and just lovely with that now shiny black coat that she models so well. She loves to greet her foster mum and enjoy the attention lavished on her so Sorrel would make a lovely addition to a family. A home with children is certainly a possibility but, of course, we don't know if she had experience of children in her original home and, if she had, how she was treated. Given her sweet nature, though, gentle, understanding, children should present no problem and neither should a cat-friendly dog. Sorrle has now been spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped so it's now just a matter of finding the right home for her to enjoy the life of care and love she was previously denied. A home away from busy roads where she could get out to explore once well settled would be just wonderful.
