Trouble
Trouble is a friendly 13½yr old boy looking for a special foster home. Due to Trouble’s medical situation, he is looking for a nice home where he can happily spend the rest of his days in comfort. Trouble suffers from hyperthyroidism which is managed well with medication but he will require ongoing blood tests to ensure his levels remain constant. Trouble has had urinary issues but this is being treated with daily medication. Poor Trouble also has gut problems which leads to smelly visits to the toilet, however, despite the occasional accident he is clean and uses his tray! Unfortunately, we have been unable to find a cause for his gut issues (the vets suspect it could be colitis/IBD) and Trouble doesn’t like any of the medicines which might help – he would refuse to eat when we tried to give him them so we have chosen to ensure that he is happy and eating rather than forcing more medication on him.

When the vets last saw Trouble, they were happy with how stable he is, all things considered, and so we would love to find a foster home where Trouble will have somewhere cozy to snuggle up and a nice garden to plod around in.

We will continue to offer full support for Trouble’s medical costs providing he is taken to our vets (Galedin Vets, any branch).
