Borders Pet Rescue
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Scottish Borders
Tiffany is around 10 years old and is looking for a quiet home with no other pets. Tiffany finds children a bit too noisy and so would prefer a home with older kids (teenage+).

Poor Tiffany has a long history of gut issues going back to 2013 when she had a condition called Tritrichomonas Foetus which causes chronic diarrhoea and in the long term, can cause gut damage. Recently it was found Tiffany had Campylobacter which she has now been treated for. She has also had a urine infection which she has also had in the past. We have tested her urine again and it is now back to normal but she’s to continue on medication for this, especially if she is rehomed, as the stress of moving could cause this to flare up again.

Tiffany is currently on a sensitive diet which she will need to stay on. She is also on medication for her gut issues. The positive news is Tiffany is well in herself and does not seem to be in any pain/discomfort. She previously was not using her litter trays, but we have ensured she has plenty of trays to choose from and keep them clean for her and she is now using her litter trays appropriately for the majority of the time. She will need to be continuously monitored in her new home and it is likely her condition could worsen during her transition to a new home as she may become stressed again.
Tiffany has also had leg issues in the past which means she sometimes has a little wobble, but she is still active and can jump with no apparent issues.
