Consett Cat Rescue
Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Co. Durham

Born in June 2017
She has been spayed, chipped and vaccinated.

She is a very shy nervous girl and is very wary and quick to run away from you but given the right home, the right people and enough time, we are confident with love and patience (and a lot of ham) she will come round. She does love her treats and will take them from your hand (once she comes out of hiding!)
She was born to a feral mum and so her feral instincts (to run) were instilled in her by her mother. But early days in foster care she would happily sit on the back of the sofa watching her humans and taking treats from their hands.
Her development did go back when she came to live with us and it is clear we have too many cats here to ensure she gets the one on one attention she really needs.
But she is a lovely girl and because we know her brothers and sisters have all settled well as tame cats, we are confident given the right home, she will become a loving family pet.
She will need an indoor home, maybe with access to a secure garden or catio. Her humans need to understand her needs and not expect a lap cat within a short time. No small children and no busy/noisy households. The right home is out there for Minx, we just have to find it.
Usual adoption fee applies (£90) and we will ask you to complete a questionnaire.
