Pickles
Pickles was a stray tomcat found in a bad state, battered and bleeding. Fortunately for him, the lady who found him was a cat lover who'd previously adopted from us, and she was happy to foster him and nurse him back to health, while we covered his vet bills and looked for his forever home. He has put up a brave fight and is finally healthy enough to leave our care. Pickles is a friendly and affectionate boy who will cuddle on your knee, but he can be nippy when he's over-excited. This is not common, but we do feel that he needs a home with experienced cat people, with no children or other pets. Since he's used to being a wanderer, he does want access to fresh air and sunshine, either through a catio or a secure garden away from busy roads or other hazards.

Pickles has had difficulties with his bladder in the past, and in the beginning suffered with urinary incontinence, but this has now cleared up and he uses a litter tray. He's also had inflammation and cystitis, likely caused by stress, and is on supplements to help manage this. He's never had a full urinary blockage, and does not require a special diet. His new owner would need to monitor his litter tray use and make sure he's okay, which is another reason we're asking for an experienced home. He's not a cat for everybody, but we hope we can find a special person to give him the life he deserves, after struggling to survive on the streets.
