Hello, i’m Toby and I came to Pawprints when my hoomdad passed away.

I fled the house when it happened and the volunteers at Pawprints had to trap me to get my safe. I was very bonded to my dad and haven’t been used to lots of people so it has taken the volunteers a long time for me to get used to them.

They took me to the vets for a health check, neuter and dental and I’ve now forgiven them so long as they keep me in chicken.

I don’t let them touch me yet though, I’m still hands off but I will take chicken from the volunteers I know well.

The volunteers say I need a special person and quite possibly a male dad who will give me all the time I need to bond with them. It will take some months but they say they can see my soft side under my tough boy act! Could you be that special someone?
