Bae & Bigsby
Bae & Bigsby came to us when sadly their mum had to go into a hospice.  Unfortunately the family knew very little about them.  We thought initially that they were brother and sister but microchip info suggests that Bae is about a year older than Bigsby.  They could be siblings from separate litters, or not related at all of course, but my money is on them being  mum and son.

UPDATE:  THESE TWO LOVELY CATS ARE NOW RESERVED FOR ADOPTION

They're very sweet and friendly cats.   Bigsby is a big fluffy chunk who enjoys being picked up, having his tum rubbed and snuggling on a lap.  Bae loves her cuddles too and likes to rub her face against you.  Being mature cats they're quite calm and steady and once they've had a fuss they're happy to settle and snooze or just watch the world go by,   They get along well together on the whole, but do have the occasional squabble ... who wouldn't if they were cooped up in one room with someone else for weeks on end.  I'm sure that having a home of their own with more space to get away from each other will make that better.

They've had their health check at the vets and no issues found.  They're neutered and microchipped and have completed their primary course of vaccinations.

It's thought that they've mainly been indoor cats so will most likely be happy to be indoors so long as they have some company and stimulation.  They're living in my working from home office at the moment and are lovely, calm, feline work colleagues.   They may enjoy having a safe garden to explore once they're settled, so any home needs to be well away from busy roads.  Whether or not they're to be allowed out at some point, they must be kept securely indoors for AT LEAST A MONTH after they arrive in their new home, and after that must be kept indoors during hours of darkness, for their own safety and that of local wildlife.

They've not been used to children in their previous home and haven't encountered children here.  There's no reason to think that they wouldn't cope wtih children who are old enough to respect a cat's need for space.   They've both enjoyed cuddles and have shown some interest in playing.  We suspect that if their human has been poorly for a while they probably haven't had much opportunity to play recently.

All our adoptions bring 4 weeks free insurance through Pet Plan.

We always homecheck prior to adoption, and ask a minimum donation of £80 for each adult neutered cat.. There’s more about our adoption process here: http://www.8livescatrescue.org/adoption-process.html and there's info about how we've adapted the process in light of Covid here: https://8livescatrescue.com/2020/11/21/adapting-and-adopting/
