Truffle is around a year old and was found abandoned with a litter of kittens. She was a great mum to her kittens, but she did find motherhood a little stressful and was quite protective of her babies. Her kittens have been rehomed and she has now been spayed, so her hormones are starting to settle and she's calming down a bit. She really dislikes other cats, so with all of this combined, she is finding life in our cattery a bit too much. She spent some time in a foster home before having her babies and was a very sweet girl, so we're hopeful that with time in a calm and quite home of her own, she will find her way back to being the loving and gentle girl.

In our cattery she's a more independent girl, but in the foster home she was more loving and social. Truffle's got a big personality, confident about what she wants and what she doesn't want. She can be cuddly and will come to you when she wants fuss and attention but she really doesn't like being picked up. She needs a home with someone who will allow her to do her own thing when she wants her own space, and give her time to settle and find herself again.
