Riley & Kaitlyn
**Special appeal for a supported adoption home for Riley & Kaitlyn**
Riley and his sister Kaitlyn are 8 years old. They came into our care via an inspector after their owner sadly died.
Riley was underweight when he arrived in care and blood tests indicate that he has chronic liver disease. He is now taking daily vet-prescribed medication and his condition is currently stable. Since starting treatment and also having dental surgery, Riley has gained weight and is feeling better.
Kaitlyn also needed a dental which has now been done. She does have a heart murmur but doesn't currently need any treatment. Both Kaitlyn and Riley are neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
Riley and Kaitlyn enjoy each other's company and love to play together. They are both affectionate, especially Kaitlyn who loves lap snuggles. Riley can be shy with new people but soon becomes more confident. Riley and Kaitlyn are looking for a calm home but could live with sensible children who are over 10 years old. The adoption for Riley would be supported and we will cover the cost of his medication and blood tests at a veterinary practice in Northampton.
