Bracken - reserved
Bracken is a sweet 8-year-old lady who lived on the streets for a number of years and has recently had a few homes, the last one being an elderly gentleman who sadly passed away. As a result, she is now slightly wary of people and needs someone who is patient and willing to her offer love and comfort. She has a lot of potential but needs to build up trust again to make it back onto a lap and to enjoy a good stroke so a single pet household with outside space would be ideal.

She is curious and highly playful when familiar with her surroundings and loves catnip and playing with anything that moves. She is an advanced user of the litter tray and generally very low maintenance. Bracken needs an experienced and understanding owner so she can have the chance of settling into her forever home.

We have had Bracken treated for a possibly cat flu-related eye infection. This is not serious, has not affected her overall health, and has improved while she has been in our care. However, she appears to have some residual chronic symptoms of eye watering. She therefore needs to be rehomed as an only cat with an owner who would be happy to manage her condition, should she have flare ups. We are also happy to remain in contact to offer help and advice with any future care needs.
