Introduction:
Hello, my name is Jess, and I am a very lovely older lady looking for my new furrever home. I was sadly surrendered to Raystede after my previous owners were moving and couldn’t take me with them.
My personality:
I am initially shy when I meet new people but as soon as I get to know you, I am incredibly loving and affectionate. I like to sit on laps and be groomed.
Children:
I am scared of children so would be best suited to an adult only home or could potentially live with older teenagers.
Other animals:
I don’t like other animals and am scared of dogs so would like to be the only pet in my new home please.
Additional needs:
I enjoy spending time outside so I would like a nice garden of my own away from busy roads. I don’t tend to go outside for much longer than half an hour, and I like to sunbathe. I have been known to hunt birds and mice so may occasionally still bring you a present.
I have hyperthyroidism, which means I have an overactive thyroid. I am currently on medication for this, which I have twice daily in my breakfast and dinner. This medication is called Thyronorm. I am a good girl taking this and it doesn’t affect me at all. Unfortunately, this is something that is going to have to be monitored regularly with regular blood tests to ensure my thyroid is functioning as it should. Otherwise, I am a healthy girl.
