Hi :) my name is Dora and I am a lovely black and white girl who was born in September 2019.

I have been lucky enough to live in a lovely foster home and here is what my foster mummy has to say about me :)

"Dora-Daisy is a very friendly and playful girl who has a confident personality once she’s settled.

She loves to have all the attention and cuddle up with you, she’s the definition of a lap cat.

She is quite shy when you first meet her but loves to explore and once she’s used to you she won’t want to leave your side.

Her favourite things include sunbathing, chasing wand toys and toy mice and kneading on your chest. She’s quite vocal and will have a chat with whoever’s listening. She’s not keen on being picked up but she’ll headbutt you endlessly to get stroked, particularly around the ears and chin. Sometimes she will even bring you a toy to play with her.

Dora-Daisy would do best in a child-free house or with sensible older children as she can be skittish but if you give her time and patience (and lots of treats) she settles well.

As she’s very vocal and skittish she at times may hiss or scratch if she’s scared but she’s easily settled. She’s currently been on weight-loss food to help shift some weight, so far she’s lost about a kilogram and has a little more to lose until her target weight. She loves all sorts of food so needs a careful eye to make sure she won’t steal any scraps.

(She’s been great as an indoor cat but it might help the weight if she can get outdoors.)
