Harlow has been in foster care from the end of May 2020. His owner could no longer care for him and the charity took him on to ensure he gets the purfect new home.
His fosterer says he has settled in perfectly. Initially he was little wary of them as they were strangers and he was in an unfamiliar environment. However, after letting him stay in their bedroom, he felt he was in a safe place.
They soon won him round with fusses and Dreamies!
He loves a fuss on his own terms and still a little wary of being picked up.
He happily sits with their own our cat and their small pug dog and they get on very well.
He goes out and scratches to be let back in. He’s fine with their older children and especially likes lie ins with their 14 year old son, his bed seems to be his favourite place. We are not sure how he would get along with younger children.
He’s really made himself at home and is a lovely cat.
The foster will allow visits to see Harlow, however social distancing rules must be adhered to due to COVID-19.
The adoption fee is £85.
Harlow had bllood tests for FELV / FIV with the charity and is negative for both.
We do believe he is neutered, however this will need to be double checked with a vet.
We carry out home checks on all our cats before adoption can take place.
