Barney
Adorable Barney came into rescue after a kind couple were feeding him on the streets for a while. They wanted to help him so we took him in. Barney has sinus damage from contracting cat flu as a stray. The damage is permanent but apart from causing him to be congested, this causes him no issues. He has special powder in his food that stops his mucus building up. Anything sinus related will be covered by the rescue.

He’s a super sweet boy who is a little nervous of touch but loves to take treats from our volunteers hands and just generally hang out with us! He’s a very social boy with other cats so other friendly cats in the home is a must for Barney. They will definitely help build his confidence in his new surroundings.

Barney will need a home where his new family is willing to put the work in to gain his trust. He deserves it after everything he has been through. Barney would be happy with an indoor spacious home. All he needs now is someone to give him a chance! Please apply if you think that could be you.

If you can give Barney the perfect home then please complete our adoption enquiry form which can be completed online at Adoption Enquiry - Adoption Enquiry - Stray Cat Rescue Team (scrtwm.org.uk)  - you will also find our adoption policy which please read prior to completing your form - Adoption Policy - Stray Cat Rescue Team (scrtwm.org.uk)

Home checks and fees apply.  Your new kitty will need to be kept in for at least 6 months and a catproofed garden or catio is preferred - please no busy roads.
