Snowflake

Snowflake came into the Meadows just before Christmas with his friend Claws, they are not a bonded pair and Snowflake is now ready to find his forever home.

Snowflake is most definitely one of the largest cats with us, he is known as one of the “big boys,” he has the the most gentle personality, and is very laid back, he will accept fuss and loves a tickle to the head and around his ears. he has shown an interest in toys but to be honest he loves to sleep more than play! he spends hours on his cat tree asleep with his head popping out of the side as he is is too big to fit and loves to sleep in the smallest places he can find, he likes to be high up as he loves to watch the world go by and see what everyone is up to, he will get up for food and for treats, yes he loves his food and will do most things to get to the bowl and before you can finish putting the food in his head is usually in, and he’s starting to eat.

Whilst he has been with us Snowflake has been neutered and he’s had his teeth sorted and a uti treated, during treatment it was found that he is felv+ and fiv+ so he will need a home where he can be an indoor only cat or have a catio so he has access to outside, other calm cats or a home with other felv+ and fiv+ cats would also suit him.

Snowflake gets on with Claws and does like others, but a calm cat would be better if you already have a cat and are looking to apply for this beauty. as of yet he hasn’t had contact with dogs so we are unable to say if he will get along with them but shows no sign of aggression or fear when Bear is outside the pen he is in on the deck.

For more information on Fiv see https://www.catchat.org/index.php/fiv

If this big beauty is the boy for you please apply, as stated a indoor only home or catio will be required.  If you can give Snowflake the perfect home then please complete our adoption enquiry form which can be completed online at Adoption Enquiry - Adoption Enquiry - Stray Cat Rescue Team (scrtwm.org.uk)  - you will also find our adoption policy which please read prior to completing your form - Adoption Policy - Stray Cat Rescue Team (scrtwm.org.uk)
