Lynx

About Me… Hello my name is Lynx. I came into the sanctuary after my carer went out to collect my stray mummy and her new litter of kittens after she had given birth to them in a lady’s garden. I was only 6 months old and from my mummy’s previous litter also born outside. I was being fed by the lady but I didn’t have my own home so my carer was not leaving me behind!

I can be a little bit timid and wary but i am such a friendly sweet loving boy especially once I feel comfortable around someone new. I love affection and often purr away! I just get a bit wary at times particularly of sudden movements and loud noises but I have got a lot better.

Home I am looking for… I would love to live with another young cat already in the home as I love playing and chilling out with my kitten friends Ola & Jakob at the sanctuary (please note we require proof of up to date vaccinations for any cat/s in the home). I can be a little grumbly with any new cats I meet but please don't let this put you off because it doesn't take me long to make friends. I could go to a home without another cat however I must have plenty of company and stimulation. I would not like to live with a dog. I could live with sensible older children 12+.

I could be kept as an indoor cat if I was to go to a home with another young cat in the home otherwise I could also eventually be allowed SAFE outdoor access but I must be kept strictly indoors for at least 6-8 weeks. This must not be on OR NEAR any main/busy or fast roads or near any railway lines. Road/ home checks apply.

If you think you could offer me the home I need, please fill out an Adoption Enquiry Form. Please make sure you have read about all of my needs and our adoption policies before applying.
