MERLIN
This is Merlin, an 8 - 10 year old who came in to be TNR'ed but we just couldn't let him go! He is looking for a home as the only pet, ideally in an adult only/small household.  As with so many of our cats, Merlin was in a sorry state when he was brought to our attention. Apart from being very weak, he had been on the streets for so long he was frightened of being touched. Despite that he would sit between his fosterer’s feet and, although hissing for England, never once swiped at or bit anyone.  It was several weeks before he gained enough trust in his fosterer to allow himself to be touched and is slowly discovering the joy of being stroked, has started to purr and even ventured on to a lap. He is still nervous of sudden movements but has the makings of a really affectionate companion.  Eventually Merlin will probably want to go outside so requires a home with safe outside access (no main roads or railways). He has been vet checked, neutered, had flea and worm treatment and comes with 5 weeks free insurance. He is currently being fostered in Harold Hill, Romford if you would like to meet him.
