Squeak was seen on Facebook by someone who had lost their black cat. She was on a derelict site and jumped into their car and they did not have the heart to turf her out. A visit to the vet confirmed she was not chipped and leaflets and internet postings did not produce an owner. Despite regular flea treatments, Squeak does appear to suffer from a flea allergy and her fur is becoming very thin around her rear end. One of the other cats in the household spends a lot of time outdoors, sharing a rabbit hutch with a hedgehog, which is possibly the source of the fleas. She has had a steroid injection in the past. Squeak is a very friendly cat, she loves being with someone at all times and craves attention. She is probably 2 – 3 years old and loves her home comforts, toasting on a sunny windowsill or sleeping on the soft cushions on the back of the sofa. Squeak has remained indoors since moving in and her owner feels she might be better in a home on her own where there is no possibility of fleas being brought in by other cats. Can you offer Squeak a home?
