Kane

Kane is a lovely young lad looking for his new home,

Kane arrived into our care as he was handed into the vets as a stray needing treatment. The vets sadly couldn’t find his owner, and Kane was treated for some wounds that he had. Sadly Kane tested positive for FIV, which meant if no rescue could take Kane on he would have been euthanised.

Kane is such a handsome lad, he is affectionate, and playful. He will bring so much happiness and energy to his new home.

As mentioned Kane is FIV+, which means he has a lower immune system. Most cats with FIV can go on to live long and happy lives.

Kane loves other cats, he loves their company and loves to play with his friends in his foster home. He is often seen cuddled up to his foster pal, and he loves to meet all the other cats in his foster home. This means even though Kane is FIV positive, he can be adopted to a multicat household, as he isn’t cat aggressive and he is neutered (the way FIV spreads - deep bites and mating). If anything he would do wonderful in a home with cat/s, as I can see him getting a bit lonely on his own if his new owners work or spend a lot of time away from home throughout the day.

Kane is looking for his new home without any dogs, and he wouldn’t be suitable around young children.
