Austin is a big chunky boy and is an unusual ‘black smoke’ colour ( black with white roots, giving the ‘smoke’ effect). He is approximately 4 years old and was previously living outside. Very gradually, he has become friendly and currently sleeps overnight at his feeder’s home. She has become very fond of him and only wishes that other people could see how special he is. Unfortunately, she cannot keep him as her other cats are not tolerating him and Austin has to go out during the day to accommodate them.

His feeder says Austin is a friendly boy although naturally a little wary of new people, but once he knows you and has settled in, he loves a chin, neck and tummy tickle and is very ‘kissy’. Ex-stray Austin is showing all the signs of becoming a cuddly lap cat! In fact he would probably stay in a lot of the time lounging around if he had his own household. Austin loves his food rather too much and is a very hefty boy as you can see, and as a result is currently on a diet! She thinks that he would be best as an only cat .

Austin is FIV positive. Thankfully cats with FIV can live a normal and happy life. Austin would appreciate access to a secure outdoor space.

Technical Bits: Austin is neutered and microchipped and is fully vaccinated. He will go home with 5 weeks free insurance.
