Madeleine
#WillowsMADELEINE around 5 years old and a head-bumper for strokes. I’m looking for a quiet home with no children now or ever in my lifetime. Even after years in my previous home, I was still wary of sudden moves or unexpected noises, although I did trust my two adult humans.
I prefer to jump up to be next to you when I fancy as I’m not a fan of being picked up, only if I was in danger. I will grace your knee if I’m feeling generous. If I get spooked by something unexpected then expect me to jump down. I’m more cuddly at bed time, curling up next to you whilst you read in bed and give me cheek scritches. It’s more peaceful then. If you stop chin tickles before I deem it, I may gently use my paw to pull your hand back to my face. Once you win my trust that is.
Because I don’t like unexpected things, if I’m kneading the bed and my nail gets stuck, I can panic a bit until I set myself free. Eeee what am I like?
In the warmer months of the year I like a little tootle outdoors in a safe enclosed garden. In my previous home I rarely was out for long nor ventured beyond the garden. I’m not a fan of the cold and winter months though, preferring to be indoors.
I’ll need to be the only pet always. I’ve proven in my last home I dont enjoy being around a dog or other neighbouring cats.
I LOVE my food, so expect a more lovey-dovey me when it’s breakfast, lunch or tea time. I’ll happily ditch a comfy knee, if I hear my food being served elsewhere. Being a mostly indoor cat (so therefore less active), a balance of good quality wet and indoor dry with good protein content, and maybe fresh chicken for treats to keep a healthy weight.
Hope someone suitable gets in touch. It’s lovely here with the kind volunteers but I’d love to have my forever home soon.
Paws faithfully
