Boots of Keswick needs a home

I have been feeding and cuddling Boots, a beautiful 17-year-old girl, for an elderly neighbour who has gone into hospital and is unlikely to come home to her house.
Her daughter is trying to find a new home, with my help, as her Mum will need supervised care and so likely to move into a place where she can't have Boots.
We are moving this week (11th) and have our own rescue cat who is very possessive about me but we would love to take Boots if we could. She has the most lovely, friendly nature and is out and about daily and more like a cat years younger.
Is there a quiet, child-free home out there for Boots?
