Maybe I should give it another go. I remember the last time, neither of them even gave it a try. It was sniffed and dismissed straight away

Hey, Mark, did you buy that food in bulk by any chance? That's a sure way to ensure those ickle picky cats won't even touch the food!MarkB wrote:Maybe I should give it another go. I remember the last time, neither of them even gave it a try. It was sniffed and dismissed straight away

I know just what you mean. You try something new - they LOVE it. You buy a couple of packs 'cos it's on offer and suddenly it's dirty looks and 'I'm not eating THAT!'
Still, I'd hang on to that food, and give it another go, one box/tin/sachet at a time. Just pretend it's new!

It happens all the time. I bought 2 cartons of Crayfish Bozita a couple of years ago. Alice (no longer with us) went mad for it. I took a chance and ordered a mixed bulk deal of 54 cartons (about £45!) and she wouldn't touch it. To be fair, the Crayfish that was meant to be the same as the singles I bought, looked totally different to the original ones.
Also I am still working through a big bag of Sanabelle Urinary. I bought a 400g bag and Lazarus loved it. I then bought a 2kg. He (with the help of the cats that visit the garden) got through it in no time. Then I went for the 4kg bag - it was only when I got the 10kg bag that he decided he no longer liked it!
