Re: Cat grass
I used to grow it - I bought wheat or oat seed on EBay, and it is easy to grow
I must say, however, that my cats much prefer the young shoots of couch grass, which I cut from the roadside during spring and summer - in fact, I might try planting up some roots in early spring and growing it on the patio

Re: Cat grass
My two (indoor) cats both enjoy it - I occasionally get the packs that Pets at Home sell as a treat, and it doesn't take long for the shoots to appear. I did worry that it would encourage them to eat other plants, but they started doing that anyway

Re: Cat grass
Just like Kay, I tried cat grass and they liked it. But we have loads of Couch in the garden (unfortunately
) and the cats seem to prefer that. I've even caught Willow munching on other ornamental grasses - almost any broadleaf grass. She seems to know what she is doing.

Re: Cat grass
I grew some cat grass in the house for mine and they loved it but it was very short lived so I'm not sure I'll bother growing it again inside. It took about 2 weeks to grow to a decent size and within 3 days they'd destroyed it
I might try planting some in the garden though for them
