Laz never grooms any more. I sometimes use byotrol wipes on his backside or around his face & ears, but was looking for something to try to keep him clean (he does get a bit smelly at times) - these have no chemicals in, so quite tempted to give them a try.

Never seen those before - amazing what one can buy these days
Personally, when needed, I always use unscented baby wipes for my cats (the back end at least) and I've never had a problem with them.
For the face I'd use just plain tepid water with a cotton pad or old flannel

they'd be the safest thing for wiping the eyes - and must say I'd be happy to have a supply of those in for myself during hot weather

Re: Anyone use water wipes?
My only concern with even basic baby wipes is the long list of chemicals with scary sounding names. I was thinking of using these for 'bed baths'. Quite surprising how much dirt you can get off a cat that never washes itself. Even with those, I'm not sure about the citrus extract. Apparently cats don't like citrus, so I would hate to cover him in something he hated the smell of. There a a few different brands of water wipes, so will have another look. You can buy a single pack of the ones I linked to for about £2 as an Amazon add-on, so might give them a try. As Kay says, quite handy for people in the summer - maybe keep a pack in the fridge!
