Hang on to your hats (and Cats)!

Post by bobbys girl »

Greetings from the Wild West! Just a 'heads-up' folks. For once the Met Office has it right, there is some nasty weather coming your way. As I type the sky is yellow and the snow/hail is coming past the window horizontally!

Keep those kitties in!

Hope you all stay safe and dry.

We (London / Surrey) definitely have been lucky with the weather so far. My local radio station keeps on predicting utter doom and gloom but I am starting to think it's because they are drama queens vs factual presenters ;)

It's windy as anything here in North Hampshire but thankfully just rain and no snow!

We did get some snow yesterday, and it's bloomin freezing. Talouse definitely picked the right week to vacate the outdoor pen and go to a new home! :D

Yes, the timing was just right for Talouse! Helen, I saw (and loved) the feature about Magic in the Newsletter - very happy for you both.

After my warning the other day, what started out a terrible, stormy day, turned out quite nice, cold, but otherwise pleasant (between the showers)! Can't say the same for the rest of NI. We have the Donegal mountains to the north and the Sligo mountains to the south - all covered in snow - very picturesque! It was bad inland too, but we seem to have got away with it.

Just an aside, are anyone elses windows filthy? I'm sure we would not have to turn the lights on quite so early if I could be bothered to clean them! But it is a bit of a waste of time at the moment. It is usually only the kitchen window that has to be cleaned twice a week - muddy little footprints, I wonder why?

Nice and sunny (but cold) this morning. All the cats ventured out - even Gracie, blinking into the daylight like Mole in the Wind in the Willows. She's back in her box now.

Right coffee break over, back to the fighting!

Yep windows filthy ...... and likely to stay that way whilst it's this flippin cold. Inside aren't too bad, but the outsides are shocking!

I sent the newsletter link to Magic's adopter, who loved it. She's promised me more pics, but said she keeps trying to get some of Magic playing with the terrier, but all she gets is blurs! :D
