Constant scratching
Hi, I have two almost two year old cats, one male and one female from the same litter. They are constantly scratching at everything and now pull the carpet up from the floor. They clawed down our new wallpaper and have had to be banned from the bedroom because of it. Which now means more clawing at the bedroom door and pulling the carpet away from its runners, leaving sharp pins visible. I do t know what to do anymore. They have scratch posts everywhere, they have outside access when we are him as its via the open back door. I spray behaviour spray where we do r want them scratching but it doesn't seem to be effective. The o it thing not tried is Feliway, could this help. I am at a loss of what to do now!! HELP!!!

Re: Constant scratching
I've found double sided sticky tape very good for stopping scratching on carpets, and on furniture, too. If your wallpaper is blown vynil, then that is irresistible to cats and I don't know of any way to stop them.
Do the cats have lots of toys, and active playtime with you to tire them out before bedtime?
Catnip sprayed on their scratch posts might attract them to scratch there instead of elsewhere.
No doubt others will come along with other ideas, but hope these may help.
