I've been using a plug-in Feliway diffuser for a few weeks now but have noticed that kitten hesitates and squints every time she goes near the diffuser.
Any thoughts as to why and whether it's not a good sign? Thinking it might be the alcohol in it that is stinging her eyes?
I've read somewhere they tell you to avoid plugging it behind doors or under shelves but no idea why.
Feliway diffuser makes kitten squint?

Loads of people seem to rave about it, however mine really don't like it. I've tried it a few times when they were smaller and it made them really naughty and unsettled.

They can get warm so it's better if they have some space around them - if they're close to furniture it might damage or worse.
I used them a couple of times and once i think it was slightly leaking so it was smoking ever so mildly. Perhaps this might cause the kitten to squint - they have a much better sense of smell than we do.
