Went to do some gardening at my friends house today. Had a little trouble leaving home. Silly Sausage Thomas refused to vacate a warm bonnet. Look how he is holding on.

I have seen a few posts on Facebook about cats warming themselves on cars, especially lying on the tyres or under the front by the engine, so if your cats are prone to sitting on the top it may be worth having a good check elsewhere on the car before driving off x

Oh believe me we always check for that! Ours have been known to disappear up inside our van's engine. We also ask visitors to check they haven't aquired a cat along the way, they are SO Nosey.

This post reminded me of the time the other half was still driving his taxi and he went off to pick up a customer, got half way there when a little head suddenly popped up from under the foot well and gave a curious 'meow?' as if to say, excuse me did you not know I was here? No idea how he got in there but he had to sit on the passenger seat all the way home!

I love that picture of Thomas. Reminds me of the day, many years ago now, when I parked at Newnham for the day and came back to find a large black long haired cat sleeping on the bonnet. Needless to say return home was rather delayed.
