Email notifications - need your feedback please!
Hellooo!
If you have your user preferences set to receive notifications of posts to particular sections or threads on the forum, we'd really appreciate your feedback please...
We upgraded our server on Friday afternoon (about 3.30pm) and we are trying to find out if this has affected notification emails being sent out by the forum.
So if you usually receive email notifications, please can you tell us if you have been receiving them since 3.30 on Friday... or not? also, if you are receiving them, could you see how long it took for the notification to be sent after the post was made?
Any feedback much appreciated!

I don't usually use email notifications, but have subscribed to a couple of topics. I did on my Paddington thread yesterday,
http://www.catchat.org/felineforum/view ... 357#p29357
and received notifications for the following posts with the email showing the same time stamp as the post:
by p885 » Sun Nov 15, 2015 4:54 am
by greenkitty » Sun Nov 15, 2015 12:11 pm
by PeanutsFriend » Sun Nov 15, 2015 3:46 pm
No notification received for this one (not sure if there should have been - just reporting what I see!):
by Lilith » Sun Nov 15, 2015 2:25 pm
Dunno if that helps?

The entire thread I was replying to yesterday seems to have disappeared - about cat tags

Hi Jillyvillyvoo,

We haven't heard of this problem so far - are you sure you clicked "Submit" after making your post? Once you click Submit, you should see your post immediately on the thread. I don't suppose you just clicked "Preview" and not "Submit" afterwards..? (sorry if that sounds too basic, but I can't think of any other reason why your post might not appear).jillyvillyvoo wrote:Hi Just noticed that since the forum has changed I have posted a few replies yet hey have not appeared even though I have submitted them? That particular thread was moved because a post was advertising/spam.mr_frisky wrote:The entire thread I was replying to yesterday seems to have disappeared - about cat tags
