Bengal cat eye disorders

Hi everyone,
I have a bengal cross and I'm currently writing a presentation on Bengal cats for my animal management couse.
I have found that Bengals are prone to eye disorders. Does anyone know why this is? Is it due to inbreeding?
Any suggestions will help, Thank you!
