Hi, we've got a long haired cat, we do brush her but There's a pocket behind her ears that's difficult to brush and she gets some big knots behind them. Is there any brush that will get these out? We can sometimes cut them out but there's a few that are really tight to her skin.
Looked on amazon but, as always, there's too much choice!!!
Anyone out there recommend anything?
Thanks

Re: Knotted hair
I have a thing called (I think) a Mitzi knotbuster. It has 5 curved blades that cut through the knots. Works reasonably well although a fair bit of teasing is also required. You need to get replacement blades quite often as they go blunt quite quickly. My problems are usually with Tilly's armpits (she is a very narrow bodied cat), not her ears!
