Happy Christmas everyone
A little early, but I'm sure we are all going to be busy over the next few days, so -
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from me, OH, Willow, Purdy, Gracie and Bob.

Re: Happy Christmas everyone
Season's greetings to everyone, from Mary, Rocky and Ria.
I think I've posted this before, but it's worth a re-run. (Not my image, found on the internet.)

Love the card - Happy Christmas from the gang and me
A bed just isn't a bed without a cat or four on it is it?
Hey Mary, Ria looks nearly as big as Rocky in the new avatar

Happy Christmas to you all.
The joys of Christmas and Cats
It's that time of year when you bring a real tree into the house and decorate it with shiny balls. Then try and make sure the cat doesn't climb it or pull all the bauble off. (Old fashioned glass baubles, a tiled hall floor and cats did not end well when I was a kid)
Trying to wrap presents with shiny russly paper and ribbons. Making sure to regularly separate the cat from the Sellotape and retrieving the scissors.
The realisation that you actually have in your house a team of ninjas trying to catch the largest bird of them all, the Christmas Turkey or Goose. One acting as a distraction (trying to climb aforementioned tree) while another sneaks in to grab the bird, the third lying in wait to trip you up as you try and snatch the Turkey from the thieving paws.
Cats, Christmas just wouldn't be the same with out them.

You're right, she's nearly as tall and long as him, but quite a lot lighter.Lilith wrote:Hey Mary, Ria looks nearly as big as Rocky in the new avatar![]()
I thought of you last night when I was watching a zoo program. A 22-foot python had to be taken out of her cage for a health check. It took 10 people to do it! I trust Shahi isn't on that scale yet

Ah no, sadly, I'd love to own one of the huge pythons; Burmese are very placid, but you do need a lot of space (where does it sleep? Where it likes. What do you call it? Sir.) And physical strength and preferably a fellow-snake-slave to help you.MarySkater wrote:

Shahi is almost 7 now but he's a compact 5' and will stay that way; he's a darling!
Crewella once fostered a huge python I believe - by the way I've noticed she hasn't been around just lately, hope all is well with you Crewella?
