Keeping My Cat Safe
I've had a problem with my mischeievious Cat, Tiggar, escaping for sometime now and it lead to him being in an accident. We've since had our garden proofed but the real problem is our windows, especially in the summer when the heat is unbearable. Since we've been unable to to have our windows open at all without Tiggar trying to escape we've been looking for some solutions but were not to keen on the window screens. It was only after talking o a friend that I discovered window shutters from Clement Browne in my local John Lewis store! They look great and i've been able to have light and air coming through without Tiggar escaping. I'm thrilled but he doesn't seem too happy.

Re: Keeping My Cat Safe
I've just put a fly screen on my bedroom window. Yes, it's good to keep flies, wasps etc out, but mainly it's so that I can have the window open without my cats escaping. (From upstairs! One of them made the kamikaze leap a few months ago, and fortunately wasn't hurt, but I don't want him trying it again.)

Makes me realise how lucky I am to live in a bungalow!
