My Cat Keeps Spraying! Feedback on a Book/Guide Please

Hey Everyone!

I'm struggling with my Cat spraying problem.. It's starting to get expensive if I keep buying this odor remover or a UV light! It is getting frustrating.

Do you think Cat Spray solution is a good Book/guide to follow?

Have you tried it or do you think it's good to follow to stop my Cat from spraying?

Hi, I haven't come across the book myself, but I've certainly come across spraying cats - one, a neutered girl, I didn't ever 'cure' but another was a mature feral tom, and although he went on spraying for a good while after neutering, as his hormone levels dropped, so did the flood level. He became clean.

It's the first question anyone will ask in a case like this - is your boy neutered? If not, neutering's a good place to start.

1 of my boys was a prolific sprayer, starting 3 years after being neutered! I made up a spray of biological washing powder to clean up the mess, it also got rid of the smell. You need to see if you can figure out the cause of the spraying (not an easy task) with my boy it was stress from an influx of cats into the area, some of which weren't neutered and thus bullied him. Unfortunately he didn't like being kept inside and anxiety meds didn't work so I was left with the horrible decision of rehoming him, but I've been informed that he is happy in his new home and the spraying eventually stopped.
