Chartreux vs british shorthair?

I have a siamese neutered male. He is a dominant type.
I want to get a second cat, so he would have company when I'm not at home.
I was thinking about getting a british shorthair or a chartreux. Which breed is better/ more compatible with siamese?

Are you sure he would welcome company? Does he enjoy meeting other cats outside? Many cats prefer to keep their territories to themselves...

When my friends came over my place with their cats, she was so jealous and aggressive towards them, so I had to close her in a separate room. You need to understand the behavior of your cat towards others, and then decide whether it's a good idea to get another cat.
