Hi , I have a 12 year old male lilac point siamese called Skye. I used to have a female Siamese, Cleo, however she passed away 2 years ago from kidney faliure aged 11 . Any how, skye has always urinated on soft furnishing ever since he was a kitten, therefore he lives in the kitchen & does go in the garden when the weather's fine, but he's mainly a kitchen cat. Since Cleo died Skye has started pooping in his bed , daily .. he also wees in his bed too & I have to wash it every day. He does use the litter, but maily he uses his bed as a toilet. He also, occasionally, poops on the kitchen counter too .. lovely !!
He is nueted, in fine health and other wise a lovely, loving cat...but, as you can imagine I'm at my witts end. I have tried different litters, litter trays etc ?? moving the litter tray, moving his bed etc ....
My husband is now getting to the stage where he wants Skye gone !! he's had enough as the house has started to smell ...
Please help ...i don't want to lose him - many thanks

Re: Please help - weeing & pooping problem ( male siamese )
Have you tried more than one litter tray? Cats often don't like to wee and poo in the same place so introducing multiple trays could help. The general rule is one tray per cat plus one extra but I would try adding another two to see if that helps.
