Angel
This wee girl came into our care heavily pregnant in June along with her three five month old kittens. The family had travelled all the way up to Scotland from Buckinghamshire (long story) but were surprisingly not too fazed by their long journey. The three kittens have been homed and are well settled with their new families and the time has now come to find equally wonderful homes for Angel and her seven babies, who were born just ten days after their mother and older siblings had arrived.
Angel’s foster mum, Liz, describes her as being an amazing little mother even although she must have been so young when her first litter was born. She’s so patient with her seven growing totally bonkers babies, although it has to be said that she’s also quite happy to get up out of the way and leave the child care to Liz when the notion to have a well-deserved nap after joining in all the fun finally hits her. Well, there’s no point in having a human and doing all the work yourself, is there? She’s such a lovely gentle, sweet, soul with Liz claiming that whoever gives young Angel a home will be so lucky to have her as a friend. If a snuggly, cuddly, cat is just your type then Angel may well be a real candidate for the position of much-loved family member. She does, of course, have her little ways (she’s a cat….) and one is that she like to drink from a tap. It could be that she learnt to do that through necessity or it may be simply by choice, but it’s what she likes and that’s all there is to it! She's also a chatty cat who enjoys telling anyone willing to listen all about her day. Angel has a slight over-reach in her top teeth, which is of no concern to her at all. It simply means her top and bottom teeth don’t sit in total alignment. Do you think you would be the right person (or persons) to offer Angel the lifelong love and care that she most certainly deserves? She would fit in quite nicely with gentle children and other cats, and possibly with a dog if the dog is used to cats and considers them to be friends. Angel would love a home where she could be allowed out into a safe environment to play once very well settled. She was due to be spayed on 30th September but has gone into season so her op won’t take place until October 7th, after which she’ll also have been fully vaccinated and chipped.
