Flora is one of Angel's seven babies, born on July 1st, just ten days after Angel arrived into our care heavily pregnant. She's a confident wee girl, happy to join in the crazy games with her siblings but also quite content to play on her own if the others collapse into an exhausted heap. She also enjoys sitting on a window sill, contemplating the world and watching the birds. I'd like to say she was a bit of a philosopher, deep in meaningful thought, but there's always the chance she's sitting there making plans for world domination once she's big enough to be out and about and able to put her plans into action. Flora's foster mum, Liz, says Flora might be a little shy at first in a new situation but the opportunity for lots of play fun would soon have her casting the shyness aside and proving herself to be a wee purring machine who likes to snuggle up on a lap. At only 12 weeks old as of September 30th, Flora is too small to be spayed before being homed so that is something a new family would have to commit to having done once Flora is heavy enough for the op. The minimum weight is 2kg. Flora would be fine with gentle, school-age, children and other cats and could be homed either on her own, preferably to a home with another cat, or with a sibling. She'd love to have access to the outdoors once she spayed and very well settled, so after a period of monhs and not weeks. She and her siblings are due to have their second set of vaccinations this Friday (Sept 30th), at which point she'll also be microchipped.
