Welcome to Cat Chat! It's really nice of you to offer your time and skills to local rescues.
Here are the links to the pages for your area. Scroll down each page to see if any of these rescues are close to you. Alternatively, a local vet might be able to tell you about local rescues.

Hi, it's lovely of you to offer, and I do understand your not being computer savvy, but you found this forum so you've made a good start!
It might be a good idea to put your area in the title of this post (Sheffield, I think?) so that anyone associated with rescues in that area will see it quickly, without having to read the whole post. Lots of volunteers do read these forums, so that would be a good start. Also, if you click on the map on the shelters page on the links posted above, you'll find a list of rescues and shelters that will also give telephone numbers as well as email addresses, and some even a postal address, so maybe you could contact them that way?
Good luck!
