Same as Alpha and my Star sadly

It was a long process with Max as it started with ulcers in her mouth which were thought to have been an allergic reaction to the bacteria on her teeth (some of which were very bad) so she had an operation to have all her teeth out except the front ones ... She recovered well but soon stopped eating again (obviously she had had a full screening before her op and nothing unusual or nasty came up) ... a couple of weeks later my vet and I noticed a mass on her lower jaw - which wasn't there before - and her bottom front tooth had become loose so she went in as an emergency to have the tooth removed and an x-ray which showed the mass but was inconclusive. My vet didn't want to do anything else as her jaw had become so weak so we treated it as an infection. She was on Antirobe for a month but had given up trying to eat anything by that point. The mass had got bigger, not smaller and Maxine had just had enough so we made the decision to let her go. Me, my vet and the nurse were heartbroken and all three of us sobbed once the decision had been made - Laura and Adele had got very attached to her! She's at peace now and with her best friend ... I'm grateful for that and that she had a fantastic 14 years with me

I'm so pleased to hear Daz is doing well! Nicholas is 17 now and he's calmed down considerably - he's become very placid and I think he's starting to lose his iron rule over the neighbourhood! His cystitis is under control (touch wood) although he doesn't have C/D biscuits anymore. He still has Cystease in his food everyday. He's happy pottering around but mainly likes to sleep and be loved
I really had forgot how much I missed your little gang! The thought of Nellie sucking a mouse has made me laugh out loud!

And Pugwash, beautiful Pugwash - what a heart warming story x They really are a huge credit to you, all of them xx
If you want to email me then I'll send you a few up to date pics! I can't resize them to put on here as I don't know how to do it my iPad!
Thank you booktigger ... Maxine was my world, as all our cats are. I always smile now when thinking of her! She was an amazing little thing and I'm so grateful for the years we had together ... thank you x
