Sergei and Boris

Rescue Cats Sergei and Boris from Purrs Cat Rescue, Hornchurch, need a homeHi, my name's Sergei. I'm only about two years old but I've had an eventful past. Last year, I fell from an 8th floor flat and broke both front paws and my jaw. I spent a long time in the vets with multiple surgeries and I'm still somewhat shaken from the experience. Although I have recovered, and am pain-free, I do continue to have problems with my right front paw and it may need amputating in the future. Any further treatment or consultations regarding my leg will need to be carried out by Purrs' vets in Romford. Purrs will cover any cost associated with treatment for the leg. I've been like a big brother to all the Purrs kittens, who met in foster care. I have particularly bonded with Boris, who was born last July, and now the two of us are inseparable. As such, we are looking for a home together. Boris is very confident and helps me feel assured. We would like a patient, indoor, cat savvy home. We think we'll be ok with older, cat savvy children and with other cats. We are both neutered.

Abbey & Carrie

Rescue cats, Abbey and Carrie, from Pippa’s Army – Lost & Found Pets Havering & Thurrock, Grays, Essex, London East, need a homeHello there, we are Abbey & Carrie; both 10 years old and neutered. We have lived together with our owner until he passed away, then we were left to fend for ourselves. We had been outside long enough to lose our trust in humans and finally had to be trapped in order to be rescued. I had an injury to my paw, thankfully treated by the rescue and am slightly more laid back than Carrie; she is still very wary of sudden movements and noises, once she settles though she loves a head rub. While we are shy, once we realise we are safe we are both keen to give purrs and headbumps, so your patience will be well rewarded. We would love a quieter home with no young children and are happy as indoor cats. If you have just the spot for us in your heart and home, please get in touch.

The Garden Kittens

Rescue cats, The Garden Kids, from Pippa’s Army – Lost & Found Pets Havering & Thurrock, Grays, Essex, need a homeHello there, we are the Garden Kittens, Iggle and Makka and our friend Pickle. Iggle and I were completely feral when we arrived, having been born in a garden it took some time to find a rescue space for us, our Mum found her home but we are still a work in progress. Pickle was found tangled in some bushes in another garden, also totally feral and taking her time to come around too. If you aren't in a position to take on 3 cats, Pickles could be homed with another confident cat, but Iggle and I are very bonded and would like to stay together. We have all been neutered as well as chipped; we will now come near you for dreamies, as long as you don't move or make a noise - then we will be off to hide. We have never been vicious, just scared and hissy. We will need a home with understanding and bucketfuls of patience. Please get in touch to find out more about us.

Lacey

Rescue Cat Lacey Pippa’s Army – Lost & Found Pets, Havering & Thurrock needs a homeHello! My name's Laxey and I'm a gorgeous, short haired, white girl. I'm around 2 years of age and I've been neutered. I may not be a lap cat, but I do enjoy a stroke and a cuddle and will give a purr before I zip off to find something new to have a look at! I don't have any hearing problems like some other white cats do but I do have a flea allergy and I need a grain free diet. I would love access to the outdoors but in the sunny weather, I'm at risk of sunburn because I'm so white, so please keep me safe in the sunshine. I'd rather live in a calm adult only home and although I don't want to share with dogs, I'm fine with another cat. I think I'm a lovely girl and I'd love a home to call my own, if anyone out there thinks I could be the girl for them, please get in touch?

Rudolph

Rescue cat Rudolph from Cats Protection - Lea Valley, Enfield, needs homeHi there, I am Rudolph and I'm a 7 year old neutered boy. I have been treated very badly by humans in the past. I have had a few homes where I’ve been turfed out and none of them told me why. My fosterers have promised me there will be one final move and it’ll be to you, but I understand that. Due to all this, I’m a bit timid around people and I’m not a fan of other cats. Once I know people, I love them unconditionally and I recently entered the lap sitting zone with my fosterers! I love a cuddle but if it feels overwhelming I’ll walk away for a few minutes and then hop back up. I love a belly rub and I trust these people enough to sleep next to them, wherever they happen to be. I wake up randomly to clean my tail and then back to sleep I go. I purr as I chew down on kibble and if you dare leave a plate on the floor, I’ll be there exploring. I am discovering play now for what might be the first time in my life and enjoying it. The way to my heart is instant, the ways to my trust is Dreamies and patience, please come and visit me!

Dolly & Missie

Rescue cats Dolly and Missie from Crescent Cat Rescue, Tendring, Essex, need a homeHello, I am Dolly; I arrived with two other cats when we were left outside someone's house, luckily we were picked up and taken to the rescue. I have been so lucky because I met my best friend here, her name is Missie. We made firm friends when we shared a pen and have come to rely on each other. I am around 11 months old, while Missie is a smidge older at 13 months, and of course we are both neutered. Missie and I are both little darlings, who love to run around and play chase with each other, as well as our other pen mates. Missie is a very affectionate lass, she loves to climb up to your shoulder and whisper sweet little purrs into your ear, she will also take any opportunity to get on your back to be as close as possible and get all the fusses she can. If you are looking for a purr-fect pair of ladies to fill your heart and home, then please make the call as soon as you can... or the email, we don't mind as long as you get in touch.

Wally & Riley

Rescue cats Riley and Wally from Crescent Cat Rescue, Tendring, Essex, need a homeHow do you do, we are Riley (black) and Wally. We are best friends having met and bonded while at the rescue, we have our paws crossed that we can find someone with enough love for us both. Wally is braver than I am and once he gets to know people he will be a lovely companion; I am a bundle of energy and will play and follow Wally's lead given a bit of time. We are both neutered and around 11 months old. We would love a home with the space to run around and play and we would be over the moon if we had some toys too. We could live with children and other cats, not sure about dogs though. If you are looking for two bundles of fun to join your family, please get in touch.

Daisy

Rescue cat Daisy, at Celia Hammond Animal Trust - Canning Town, needs a new homeHello, my name is Daisy (also known as Crazy Daisy when I'm zooming around energetically!), and I'm looking for my loving forever home. I'm five years old, have a beautiful shorthaired black and white coat and have been spayed. I'll make a wonderful addition to a patient and understanding adult home, where I can be the only pet and seek attention or playtime on my own terms. I have a sweet nature and love head strokes and snuggling on a comfy lap - and when I'm especially relaxed I'll snooze contentedly with my legs in the air. When I'm upright I have a lot of energy to burn and love to play; due to my experiences before rescue I can sometimes be a little too rough, but am gradually learning to play with toys instead of arms and hands! I'll thrive in a caring home where my quirky nature is appreciated, and once I've settled in I'd enjoy having access to the outdoors. Could you offer me the splendid permanent home I'm searching for?

Gwen, Chicklet & Salamander

Rescue cats Gwen, Chicklet and Salamander from Celia Hammond Animal Trust - Canning Town, Canning Town, Essex, West Kent, East London, need a homeHi there, my name is Gwen. I am a nervous young lass, who was living as a stray in gardens and being fed by locals. Once they found I had Chicklet (female) & Salamander (black & white male) they called the rescue for help. We were all given a vet check to make sure we were as healthy as possible and then we were off to a foster home, where I could continue caring for my babies. I am gentle, but still a little nervous and like a good hidey hole. I would like to find us a home with a patient person, who will allow me to come out of my shell, probably adults only or older calm children would be best. Salamander & Chicklet like to play, Salamander is brave and will entertain myself, whereas Chicklet is my shadow. If you can offer us a home together, we would be eternally grateful.

Mama Bear & Kittens

Rescue cats Mama Bear and her babies from Celia Hammond Animal Trust - Canning Town, Canning Town, Essex, West Kent, East London, need a homeHello everyone, I am Mama and I am here with my children, Pugsley (male), Wednesday(female) and Flora (female). I was being fed by a kind lady while I was pregnant and once I had the babies, she asked the rescue for help. I am a chatty lass, neutered and 2 years old. I enjoy being snuggled and strokes, I get on with other cats. Ideally I would like to find a home with one of the kittens and have the others go as a pair too. The kittens are full of curiosity and fun; they love toys and each other, we play until we wear ourselves out and then fall into a kitten puddle to sleep. Now I have lost the tops of both ears, no-one knows how it happened, hopefully by surgical procedure. We could all share with children and would like the chance to go out once we have fully settled in.

Carla & Tilly

Rescue Cats Carla & Tilly, Celia Hammond Animal Trust - Canning Town needs a homeHello, I'm Carla and I'm here with my adopted daughter Tilly, to look for a loving home. I'm 2 years, black and white. Tilly is tortie and white and younger. I was taken in as a stray with my kittens, I was a really good mum even though I'm terrified of humans. I will have a play with toys but if I see I'm being watched I'll run away and even if a toy or one of the kittens bumps against me from behind and I wasn't expecting it, I'll run and hide. Tilly was found with the rest of her siblings when their mum died after giving birth. Some of the kittens were put with me and I helped to save their lives by bringing them up with mine. Tilly and I formed a very close, loving, bond and we love to sleep, snuggle and play together. I'm in a foster home to help build my confidence and Tilly is also helping with that because she's affectionate and loves to play and have a chat with the humans and it's helping me to see that humans can be nice. We'd like a home together please but an adult only home and with patient people who can give me the time and space to help build my confidence and keep learning that humans can be trusted. We'd like a home with no dogs but we like cats so another chilled cat would be fine. We'd like access to a garden and I would like a catflap so that I could come and go as I liked. We've been neutered and now all that's left to say, thank you for reading and please, give us a chance?

Eddie & Phillip

Rescue cats Eddie and Phillip from Ann & Bill's Cat & Kitten Rescue, Hornchurch, Essex, need a homeHello there, we are Eddie and Phillip; we are handsome lads who are around a year old now. We are both neutered and are hoping to be able to stay together in our forever home. We can be a little shy until we get to know you, so our new person, or people, will need to be a little patient while we find our feet. We have had time to think about our ideal home and have decided that we could share with other cats and could live with kind children; but we aren't sure about living with dogs though. If you have space in your home and heart for us, please get in touch.

Margot

Rescue cat Margot, at Pippa’s Army – Lost & Found Pets Havering & Thurrock, Grays, Essex, needs a new homeHello, my name is Margot. I'm a beautiful black and white, short haired lady of about two years old, and I'm looking for an extra-special forever home. A calm home with a cat savvy, patient human friend to keep me company (I will happily follow you around once I get to know you) but one who doesn't mind that I don't - and may never - enjoy being stroked or sitting on laps. I've made great progress with my fosterer but need to be allowed to set the pace (though some freshly cooked chicken always helps!), and a home without children or dogs will suit me best. A laid back feline companion would be great though. I'm really keen to experience the outdoors but have never done so, which means a cat-proofed garden or large catio would be ideal. I have been spayed. If you think that you could offer a caring permanent home to a cute, playful, curious and quirky girl then please get in touch.

Sally

Rescue cat Sally from Clacton National Animal Trust, Clacton, Essex, Suffolk, needs a homeWell hello there; I am Sally, a nine year old, neutered, lass, who arrived at the centre in a poor state. When I appeared at the rescue I had sore skin with missing fur, a vet visit found that I have a flea allergy, which has been treated now and I will need preventative flea treatments to manage it. While at the vet I was found to have many bad teeth and am on a soft diet until I can build up enough strength for a dental. I have my paws crossed that I will find someone on this internet thing who will fall in love and offer me the home of my dreams; where I am given the love and care I need. I could share with older children, teenagers, and other cats; but no dogs thank you. I am a friendly girl and am hoping that you can see past the skin and teeth to see who I could become with TLC and plenty of patience?

Flossy

Rescue cat Flossy from Clacton National Animal Trust, Clacton, Essex, Suffolk, needs a homeGood day to you; my name is Flossy. I am 2 years old, neutered and have a beautiful tortoiseshell coat. Sadly, at just 2, I am already looking for a new home; I am affectionate and friendly and I enjoy human attention, but not from little humans, they scare me a bit, so older children only for me please? I would prefer to be the only cat in my forever home, and I haven't really had dealings with dogs, so I am not sure about sharing with one of those either. I am playful, especially if I have a fluffy bird toy, they are my favourite. I also like a bit of bird watching, so a nice outside space for me to explore would be just perfect. If you have a little cat shaped hole in your heart, I am sure I could help fill it; please get in touch as soon as you can to ask about me.

Dawn & Saffron

Rescue cats Dawn and Saffron from Purrs Cat Rescue, Hornchurch, Essex, need a homeHow do you do? I am Dawn, I have a black coat, I love to be stroked and am far more confident than when I first arrived. I am here with my sister Saffron; she has a white bib, as though she is wearing a tuxedo. Saffron is still pretty nervous, she doesn't yet like a fuss but she doesn't hiss anymore; she will come round given plenty of love and patience. She does have a scar on one eye, that makes it look cloudy, the vets say she can see and that it doesn't cause any pain or trouble. We are about 6 months old now, are both neutered and are ready to take the next step into our own home. We could live with older children, who understand that we need time and patience, and could share with other cats, but no dogs for us please. We would love the chance to go outside if it is possible when we are fully settled in. If you have room in your heart for some shy girls, please get in touch.
