Rescue cat Cassie, at Blue Cross Cambridge Rehoming Centre, needs a new homeHello, my name is Cassie.  I'm a gorgeous short-haired tortie and white girl of eight years old, and I'm looking for a fabulous permanent home.  My perfect home will have plenty of room for me to chase around after my toys, plus a human friend (or several) to play with me and listen to all my kitty chattering!  I haven't been outdoors before but once I've settled into my new home I'd enjoy having a safe garden to explore.  I'm happy to share a home with sensible, calm children who will treat me kindly, but I'd prefer to be the only furry resident as I'd like to have all your attention to myself.  I have been spayed.  If you think that you could offer me a forever home with all the love, fun and affection I deserve, then I'd love to meet you!

Hi There Folks, I am an independent 3 year old tabby & white fella, but am very playful and affectionate when I want to be. I'd love to find a nice quiet home to relax in and where I can play with my toys in peace. I've lived with other cats and dogs in the past, but ideally would rather be on my own in my new home, I'm not sure about children as I've never really met any.  Because I can be quite nervy and fearful, it may take me a little while to get settled into any new environment and feel comfortable enough to come out of my shell. So I would be better suited with older children rather than little ones. But if you are patient and calm with me, I'll make a wonderful companion (if I do say so myself!)

Rescue cat Harry from Crescent Cat rescue, Tendring, needs a homeHello, I'm a handsome cat called Harry, and I'm looking for my new home. I'm about 4 years old, and am neutered. I'm a very friendly boy and just love human company. Maybe there is someone out there that is at home quite a bit of the day? That would be fantastic! I'd rather not live with other animals, I prefer humans; I don't have experience of children. Oh, I should mention that I've had a flea allergy previously so I need to take one piriton tablet a day for this and I also need to have a veterinary prescribed flea treatment once a month. I don't want any nasty fleas returning! I would like access to the outdoors please so I can enjoy some sunbathing in the sunshine. I'll make a brilliant companion so please do get in touch for more information about me.

I'm a sweet and pretty cat, just look at my nice smile in my photo! I enjoy fuss and attention, but will let you know when I've had enough fuss. I'd like a home with an experienced cat owner and with no young children (older children would be okay). I'm vaccinated, microchipped and have had my flea/worm treatment so I'm ready for my new home now please!

Rescue Cat Smudge from Cats Protection - Harlow, Epping Forest & District, Essex needs a homeHello! My name’s Smudge and I’m a gorgeous Tortie and black lady who’s looking for a home where I’ll be loved and pampered! I’m 5 years old and I came in to the rescue with my sister Poppy. She’s gone to a wonderful new home and I’m waiting for it to be my turn now. My new family must have comfy laps as one of my favourite pass times is curling up for a snooze and I’ve found the best place to do that is in a nice comfy lap. Another hobby I have is playing and particularly with my dangly toy fish - again I will need your assistance with that so hopefully you’ll be expert with wiggling the fish so I can have lots of fun pouncing! I’m fine with children but would prefer to be the only pet as I want to be centre of attention. I’d also love to have a garden to have a play in. I’ve been neutered and I do have a treatable heart condition but don’t worry, I have daily medication and it in no way cramps my style! So, can my dangly fish and me come and live with you?
SMUDGE is at Cats Protection - Harlow, Epping Forest & District. Rescue cat Travis from Cats Protection Tendring and District, Clacton, Essex needs a homeHello, my name is Travis and I am a very handsome grey tabby chap; I’m 9 years young and have been neutered. Now that all that bit is done I can tell you all about me; I have had a rotten year so far, my humans passed away and I was left homeless.  I am a quiet and gentle chap and all the change has left me a bit shell shocked but I am slowly coming out of my shell and it is hoped that I will continue to relax and be myself.  I have always been an indoor cat as my last home was on a busy road but I may like a wander into a safe garden. I am up to date with my jabs, am microchipped and ready to pack my bags and come home with you.  If you can offer me a quiet home do get in touch as soon as you can.
TRAVIS is at Cats Protection - Tendring & District, Clacton-on-Sea. Rehoming in C07 & CO11 - CO16: from the River Stour (north), to the coast and the River Colne (south), with the coast to the East and Colchester to the west. Rescue cat Toffee, at National Animal Welfare Trust, Thurrock, needs a new homeHello, my name is Toffee.  I'm a very handsome black and white chap (I'm particularly proud of my lovely white whiskers!) of four years old, and I'm eager to find a loving indoor-only home.  I'm a friendly and fuss-loving boy who'd really thrive with the companionship of a human or two of my very own, with more space to potter around in than I'm able to have in a rescue pen.  As I prefer receiving affection on my own terms a home with adults only, or a family with sensible older children, will suit me best.  I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and up to date with flea and worm treatment; I'll also go to my new home with four weeks free insurance cover.  I've been waiting patiently in rescue since December last year, so I'm pretty sure it's well past my turn to find my caring forever home.  Why not come and meet me?

I am a very loving cat, a bit of a cuddle puss, I am very sweet and I love attention. Although I am a little shy at first, but given time and affection, I will become your most loving companion. I did have a litter kittens last year but they have all found lovely homes, once I had seen they were settled, I thought it is now my turn to find a lovely quiet loving home. I am neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped and am in tip top condition. I would prefer an indoor quiet home with no children or dogs, but I could be ok with another quiet kitty, where we can share your lap at evening time. Rescue cat Roxy from Caring For Animals 2001, Thurrock, Essex, needs a homeHi there, my name is Roxy and I am a neutered lass in need of a new home. I came into rescue heavily pregnant back in 2015 and raised what turned out to be my fourth litter. I then became very ill myself and was diagnosed with toxoplasmosis. While I am not infectious at the moment, toxoplasmosis can flare up so it would be better if I could find a mature home where there are no ladies who might get pregnant. The charity are prepared to pay for testing at their vets every 9 - 12 months. I am a pretty lass, very tame and I am hoping that there is someone out there who will give me the chance of a forever home. The rescue will give you more information about me if you just make that first call or email and see if you could have space in your heart and home for me.

Rescue cat Rascal from Purrs Cat Rescue, Hornchurch, needs homeHello there. I'm Rascal... and I've had rather a tough time of it lately. I had been a stray for months, I didn't have a microchip, I wasn't neutered, I was grubby and very hungry. They think I'm around 5-7 years old. Sadly at some point in my life I have picked up FIV. I realise that its going to take a really special human to make me a happy boy again! Many cats live long and normal lives with FIV and it can't be passed to humans. Its only passed between cats when there's agressive fighting due to lack of neutering. The kind people at Purrs have resolved that though! I am looking for an indoor home, and a kind human who would let me get used to being a companion again. Just being, warm and having a full belly is still a novelty. My lovely foster will be pleased to have a chat if anyone has any questions. Please just have a little think about it! To find out about FIV: Visit Cat Chat’s FIV information page, or the FIV Owner's Club on our friendly forum.

Rescue cats Lizzie & Becky from National Animal Welfare Trust Clacton, Essex , Suffolk, need a homeHello, we are Lizzie (on the left), and Becky. We are neutered sisters and we are 2 years old. We were rehomed as kittens but unfortunately we find ourselves looking for a home again; now we know that taking on two cats is a big ask, so if it is absolutely necessary we could be rehomed separately. We are all different, Lizzie is the shyest of us and I am more confident. We could happily live with teenagers and we could maybe share with another cat but neither of us wants to live with a dog. We are hoping to find a home or homes where someone can work to build our confidence and give us time to settle in to our new surroundings. If you think you could be the one to help a sister out, then purr-lease get in touch.
LIZZIE & BECKY are at National Animal Welfare Trust - Clacton. Rehoming in Essex & Suffolk. Mary, rescue cat from Hornchurch, EssexI’ve been waiting over a year… Please pick me! Hello stranger! Let me introduce myself. My name is Mary and I'm a friendly lass with a bit of growing to do! At 18 months I've still got a lot to learn about the world, but what I do know is that I'm looking for a loving home. Now, I'm quite a reserved young lady, so a quiet home with a chance to get to know you slowly would be just the ticket, along with some access to the outside - and I may need quite a bit of time to come out of my shell. I can promise you though, once I know you better your patience would pay off; I'll be heading straight for your lap and lavishing you with purry kisses! So how about it then? Could you be the one for me? I do hope so!
Mary is at Ann & Bill’s Cat & Kitten Rescue, Hornchurch. Rehoming in Hornchurch, Romford, Dagenham, Rainham & Barking.
