Benedict

Rescue cat Benedict from Blue Cross - Suffolk Rehoming Centre, Ipswich, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, needs a homeHow do you do; my name is Benedict. I am a handsome house panther; I do have a little problem in that I don't currently have a house of my own, so I am here hoping you might be able to help me. I am also looking for someone who likes snuggles and company. I love to be warm and spend sunny days finding a nice bright and toasty spot to lay in. My foster mum says that I have a big purr-sonality and I am adventurous too. I love to play as well as snuggle up, so I am a perfect, dashingly handsome, gentleman. I am 6 years old, neutered and would refer to be the only pet in the home, I could live with children though. If you think I might be the chap for you, please get in touch.

Jessie

Rescue cat Jessie, at PussyCat Lodge Trust, Brentwood, needs a new homeHello, my name is Jessie. I'm a beautiful shorthaired tabby and white lady of five years old. I came into rescue via the vet, when my owners felt that they couldn't cope with my needs any more. I'm not an aggressive cat - just very scared. My rescuers hope that they can help me find an extra-special, caring and experienced home where my shyness and fear will be understood and treated with lots of patience, calmness and love. I need a home away from busy roads, without young children, where I can have a quiet room all to myself whilst I learn to trust my lovely new human friend in my own time. I'm neutered, microchipped and am being vaccinated. I'm overweight at the moment, so will also need help with getting into shape. If you have experience of helping shy cats, and can offer me the chance of a secure and contented future in a peaceful forever home, please get in touch.

Sansa

Rescue Cat Sansa, PussyCat Lodge Trust, Brentwood needs a homeHi there, I'm a little black, short haired cat called Sansa and I'm really hoping to find myself a forever home soon. I'm feeling very sad and rather stressed in the rescue. I did have a home but sadly my owners weren't able to keep me. I used to be independent and I loved being outside and hunting! I also loved to sleep on the bed with my owner and although I'm not a lap cat, I quite liked to sit next to them on the couch. I enjoy affection on my own terms and I'd really love to find a new home where I'd be free to come and go as I please, so that I can roam outside. I've been neutered. I could possibly live with another cat but I seem to have a preference for other black cats! Please have a think and see whether you might be able to help, I'd love you forever if you can!

Victor

Rescue cat Victor from Ann & Bill's Cat & Kitten Rescue, Hornchurch, Essex, needs a homeGood day to you, what a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I have my paws crossed here that you might be just the person I am looking for? I am in need of a a home to call my own. I am around 18 months old and was found straying. I will be neutered before leaving the rescue and am ready to start the next part of my life, one where I don't have to fight for food or territory anymore. My time on the streets has left me quite unsure and scared of people; so my new guardian will need to be patient, while I learn to trust. Ideally, I would live with someone who is around a lot of the time to help me settle in. I think I could live with other cats if you have one, but I am not sure about sharing with dogs or children. If you could be my One, please get in touch.

Paulina

Rescue cat Paulina from Bow Lodge Cat Rescue, Thurrock, Essex, West Kent, needs a homeHow do you do? I am Paulina; I am 2 years old and arrived at the rescue having given birth to 6 kittens behind a shed, we weren't found until my kittens were 4 weeks old. Having lived outside and raised those babies alone, I am very untrusting of people; ideally I need a home where I can be loved, but left alone. Now, I am a well mannered lady and haven't bitten or lunged, I just run and hide when anyone gets close; day by day I am getting a little more confident, so who knows how I will blossom in a home. I will learn to trust that my human won't harm me given lots and lots of time and a good dose of patience. I am only really a youngster myself and surely I deserve a home too; the chances are that I was discarded and had to learn quickly how to keep myself safe. I am neutered now and ready to find my place in the world. If you have a loving home, possibly with another cat I can learn from, but with no children or dogs, and can imagine what it will feel like when I wind myself around your legs for the first time, please get in touch.

Paddy

Rescue cat Paddy from Bow Lodge Cat Rescue, Thurrock, Essex, West Kent, needs a homeHello, my name is Paddy. As you can see, I am a beautiful lass, with a short black and white coat. I am 3 years old, have been neutered and am ready to find my new forever person. Unfortunately my owner needed to leave in a hurry, a quick getaway if you like and so I am here patiently waiting for someone to realise how fab I am and offer me the home of my dreams. That home would have a garden I can explore safely; it could have older children, another cat and ever a cat friendly dog - I am pretty easy going, the purr-fect addition really! I am very purry, you only need to talk to me or show me a little affection and I will begin to purr to show you how much I love attention. Please arrange to meet me and see if we could be best friends.

Pippy & Percy

Rescue cats Pippy and Percy from Clacton National Animal Welfare Trust, Clacton, Essex, Suffolk, need a homeHello, we are Pippy & Percy. We are 5 years old, have been neutered and are absolute besties; Percy is quite nervous and relies on me to show him that life is OK and help him adjust to our new environment. No-one knows anything about our background, but given Percy's nervousness, we would suit a home with no dogs and really we would prefer to be the only feline residents. We could live with older school aged children, but would be just as happy in an adult home. What we will need is someone to take the time to works with us and gain our trust; this will call for plenty of patience, especially with Percy. If you have room in your home and heart for us and would love to see Percy blossom, please get in touch.

Sergei and Boris

Rescue Cats Sergei and Boris from Purrs Cat Rescue, Hornchurch, need a homeHi, my name's Sergei. I'm only about two years old but I've had an eventful past. Last year, I fell from an 8th floor flat and broke both front paws and my jaw. I spent a long time in the vets with multiple surgeries and I'm still somewhat shaken from the experience. Although I have recovered, and am pain-free, I do continue to have problems with my right front paw and it may need amputating in the future. Any further treatment or consultations regarding my leg will need to be carried out by Purrs' vets in Romford. Purrs will cover any cost associated with treatment for the leg. I've been like a big brother to all the Purrs kittens, who met in foster care. I have particularly bonded with Boris, who was born last July, and now the two of us are inseparable. As such, we are looking for a home together. Boris is very confident and helps me feel assured. We would like a patient, indoor, cat savvy home. We think we'll be ok with older, cat savvy children and with other cats. We are both neutered.

The Garden Kittens

Rescue cats, The Garden Kids, from Pippa’s Army – Lost & Found Pets Havering & Thurrock, Grays, Essex, need a homeHello there, we are the Garden Kittens, Iggle and Makka and our friend Pickle. Iggle and I were completely feral when we arrived, having been born in a garden it took some time to find a rescue space for us, our Mum found her home but we are still a work in progress. Pickle was found tangled in some bushes in another garden, also totally feral and taking her time to come around too. If you aren't in a position to take on 3 cats, Pickles could be homed with another confident cat, but Iggle and I are very bonded and would like to stay together. We have all been neutered as well as chipped; we will now come near you for dreamies, as long as you don't move or make a noise - then we will be off to hide. We have never been vicious, just scared and hissy. We will need a home with understanding and bucketfuls of patience. Please get in touch to find out more about us.

Daisy

Rescue cat Daisy, at Celia Hammond Animal Trust - Canning Town, needs a new homeHello, my name is Daisy (also known as Crazy Daisy when I'm zooming around energetically!), and I'm looking for my loving forever home. I'm five years old, have a beautiful shorthaired black and white coat and have been spayed. I'll make a wonderful addition to a patient and understanding adult home, where I can be the only pet and seek attention or playtime on my own terms. I have a sweet nature and love head strokes and snuggling on a comfy lap - and when I'm especially relaxed I'll snooze contentedly with my legs in the air. When I'm upright I have a lot of energy to burn and love to play; due to my experiences before rescue I can sometimes be a little too rough, but am gradually learning to play with toys instead of arms and hands! I'll thrive in a caring home where my quirky nature is appreciated, and once I've settled in I'd enjoy having access to the outdoors. Could you offer me the splendid permanent home I'm searching for?
DAISY is at Celia Hammond Animal Trust - Canning Town. Rehoming in Postcodes E1 to E18, RM postcodes as far as Chafford Hundred, and all IG postcodes. Gwen, Chicklet & Salamander

Rescue cats Gwen, Chicklet and Salamander from Celia Hammond Animal Trust - Canning Town, Canning Town, Essex, West Kent, East London, need a homeHi there, my name is Gwen. I am a nervous young lass, who was living as a stray in gardens and being fed by locals. Once they found I had Chicklet (female) & Salamander (black & white male) they called the rescue for help. We were all given a vet check to make sure we were as healthy as possible and then we were off to a foster home, where I could continue caring for my babies. I am gentle, but still a little nervous and like a good hidey hole. I would like to find us a home with a patient person, who will allow me to come out of my shell, probably adults only or older calm children would be best. Salamander & Chicklet like to play, Salamander is brave and will entertain myself, whereas Chicklet is my shadow. If you can offer us a home together, we would be eternally grateful.

Mama Bear & Kittens

Rescue cats Mama Bear and her babies from Celia Hammond Animal Trust - Canning Town, Canning Town, Essex, West Kent, East London, need a homeHello everyone, I am Mama and I am here with my children, Pugsley (male), Wednesday(female) and Flora (female). I was being fed by a kind lady while I was pregnant and once I had the babies, she asked the rescue for help. I am a chatty lass, neutered and 2 years old. I enjoy being snuggled and strokes, I get on with other cats. Ideally I would like to find a home with one of the kittens and have the others go as a pair too. The kittens are full of curiosity and fun; they love toys and each other, we play until we wear ourselves out and then fall into a kitten puddle to sleep. Now I have lost the tops of both ears, no-one knows how it happened, hopefully by surgical procedure. We could all share with children and would like the chance to go out once we have fully settled in.

Carla & Tilly

Rescue Cats Carla & Tilly, Celia Hammond Animal Trust - Canning Town needs a homeHello, I'm Carla and I'm here with my adopted daughter Tilly, to look for a loving home. I'm 2 years, black and white. Tilly is tortie and white and younger. I was taken in as a stray with my kittens, I was a really good mum even though I'm terrified of humans. I will have a play with toys but if I see I'm being watched I'll run away and even if a toy or one of the kittens bumps against me from behind and I wasn't expecting it, I'll run and hide. Tilly was found with the rest of her siblings when their mum died after giving birth. Some of the kittens were put with me and I helped to save their lives by bringing them up with mine. Tilly and I formed a very close, loving, bond and we love to sleep, snuggle and play together. I'm in a foster home to help build my confidence and Tilly is also helping with that because she's affectionate and loves to play and have a chat with the humans and it's helping me to see that humans can be nice. We'd like a home together please but an adult only home and with patient people who can give me the time and space to help build my confidence and keep learning that humans can be trusted. We'd like a home with no dogs but we like cats so another chilled cat would be fine. We'd like access to a garden and I would like a catflap so that I could come and go as I liked. We've been neutered and now all that's left to say, thank you for reading and please, give us a chance?

Eddie & Phillip

Rescue cats Eddie and Phillip from Ann & Bill's Cat & Kitten Rescue, Hornchurch, Essex, need a homeHello there, we are Eddie and Phillip; we are handsome lads who are around a year old now. We are both neutered and are hoping to be able to stay together in our forever home. We can be a little shy until we get to know you, so our new person, or people, will need to be a little patient while we find our feet. We have had time to think about our ideal home and have decided that we could share with other cats and could live with kind children; but we aren't sure about living with dogs though. If you have space in your home and heart for us, please get in touch.

Margot

Rescue cat Margot, at Pippa’s Army – Lost & Found Pets Havering & Thurrock, Grays, Essex, needs a new homeHello, my name is Margot. I'm a beautiful black and white, short haired lady of about two years old, and I'm looking for an extra-special forever home. A calm home with a cat savvy, patient human friend to keep me company (I will happily follow you around once I get to know you) but one who doesn't mind that I don't - and may never - enjoy being stroked or sitting on laps. I've made great progress with my fosterer but need to be allowed to set the pace (though some freshly cooked chicken always helps!), and a home without children or dogs will suit me best. A laid back feline companion would be great though. I'm really keen to experience the outdoors but have never done so, which means a cat-proofed garden or large catio would be ideal. I have been spayed. If you think that you could offer a caring permanent home to a cute, playful, curious and quirky girl then please get in touch.

Dawn & Saffron

Rescue cats Dawn and Saffron from Purrs Cat Rescue, Hornchurch, Essex, need a homeHow do you do? I am Dawn, I have a black coat, I love to be stroked and am far more confident than when I first arrived. I am here with my sister Saffron; she has a white bib, as though she is wearing a tuxedo. Saffron is still pretty nervous, she doesn't yet like a fuss but she doesn't hiss anymore; she will come round given plenty of love and patience. She does have a scar on one eye, that makes it look cloudy, the vets say she can see and that it doesn't cause any pain or trouble. We are about 6 months old now, are both neutered and are ready to take the next step into our own home. We could live with older children, who understand that we need time and patience, and could share with other cats, but no dogs for us please. We would love the chance to go outside if it is possible when we are fully settled in. If you have room in your heart for some shy girls, please get in touch.
