Hello, my name is Libby. I'm a petite, sweet natured lady of about 11 years old, with a short-haired grey and white tabby coat. After fending for myself as a stray for quite a while I was taken in by a kind human, but unfortunately the resident cat didn't take kindly to my presence and bullied me, so I'm now looking for a home of my own. I'm a fuss-loving girl, although not so keen on being picked up, and I'll thrive in a peaceful cosy home where I'll be allowed to settle in at my own pace and enjoy being stroked. An indoor-only home, or a home with an enclosed garden to keep me safe, will be perfect for me. I have been spayed and I'll go to my new home up to date with flea & worming treatments, micro chipped and vaccinated. Could you offer me a loving permanent home?
Meow! My name is Barney, a lovable and friendly five year old tabby with a keen interest in exploring the outside and chasing critters around the garden. I'm a big lad, which gives me a cute and cuddly appearance, but in fact I do enjoy a good stroke. I'm particularly partial to scratched behind my ears; it's heavenly! As you may have gathered, I love the outside, so I would need an owner who has the home to suit my hobbies. I've been neutered and would be fine around other cats or even children, due to my lovable and calm nature. If you're interested in a cat that is happy to go out exploring before coming home for cuddles and attention, I'm the perfect pick.
BARNEY is at RSPCA - Stort Valley, Harlow. Rehoming in Saffron Walden in Essex to Broxbourne in Hertfordshire - including Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow and surrounding villages. To make an enquiry, please call: 01279 306058, and please mention you saw Barney on Cat Chat, thank you!
Hello, my name is Harry. I'm a gorgeous male tabby cat. I'm about 3 years old and am neutered. I am looking for a new home and I was hoping you might be able to help me? I'm a very loving young boy. I love to have a fuss and I even enjoy being brushed. I get along with other cats, but the rescue don't know if I have any experience with children or with dogs. I'd love a home with access to the outdoors so I can have a potter about outside. Oh, and I feel that I really should mention that I am partial to a bit of chicken, you know, just in case you have any! I'll make a lovely companion for someone so please get in touch.
Hi, my name is Noel. I am around 9 years old and was found starving, trying to feed myself as a stray. I was brought in to the rescue and neutered; I was also diagnosed as FIV+, I am healthy now that I have had good food and love, so there is no reason why I can’t live a happy life with someone. I am happy around other cats, in fact I was being bullied, which is possibly how I ended up being FIV+. I would happily live in a home where I could have a wander around the garden, I am not high risk to any other cats and the people here are happy to provide more advice (or you can find it through the links below.) I am hoping to find a quieter home with someone who is looking for a companion. If you are looking for a furry friend to keep you company, look no further and make that call - you will make my day!

Hello, we are Lizzie (on the left), and Becky. We are neutered sisters and we are 2 years old. We were rehomed as kittens but unfortunately we find ourselves looking for a home again; now we know that taking on two cats is a big ask, so if it is absolutely necessary we could be rehomed separately. We are all different, Lizzie is the shyest of us and I am more confident. We could happily live with teenagers and we could maybe share with another cat but neither of us wants to live with a dog. We are hoping to find a home or homes where someone can work to build our confidence and give us time to settle in to our new surroundings. If you think you could be the one to help a sister out, then purr-lease get in touch.
Hello all, my name is Jane; I am around 18 months old and have been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. As you can see I am a sleek black cat; I am happy to be stroked and cuddled and yet no-one has been able to offer me a home. I understand that sometimes it takes a black cat much longer to find a home; I just hope that is not true for me. I am hoping to find an adult only home, with a garden for some gentle exploring, once I am settled in. If you have no other pets and are looking for a furry friend to keep you company, then purr-lease look no further and arrange to come and meet me.
Hello, my name is Christy; I am a handsome, black, 10 year old, neutered chap. I came into the rescue in a very sorry state; I was thin and had angry inflamed skin from a flea allergy; even in that state I was still hoping for human contact and rolling over to show my rescuer the fleas that were bothering me so much. Thanks to regular flea treatments, good food and water I have become a sleek black panther. I am a very laid back chap, even when the vet microchipped me. I love human company and am very quick to come if I am called for and the offer of a treat or fuss is there. I am hoping to find a home where I can be your only pet reallyas I get a bit worried by some other cats; I will happily live with children and would like a garden to relax in. If you think you could offer me lots of love and monthly flea treatments I would be really keen to meet you and see if we could be best friends.
Hello, my name is Jay. I'm a gorgeous short haired ginger and white chap of around four years old (as I came into rescue as a stray my age has been estimated), and I'm looking for a lovely new home. My ideal home will have access to a safe garden and contain a human or two who will give me all the care and affection I'd like. I have a special (raw) diet which keeps me in tip-top condition; it doesn't cost any more than your average cat food and my rescuers can advise my new human friends on this. A home without young children and other cats will suit me best, but I could share my space with a feline-friendly dog. I have been neutered and am all ready to begin my fabulous new life, so please come and meet me soon!
We are Misty and Momo, two four year old girls with lovely black coats and dazzling eyes. We were abandoned by our previous owner and as a result are very close to each other, having seen one another through those difficult times. I am Misty, and am more confident (if I do say so myself) than Momo, who will need a little more time to settle in and come out of her shell. We have both been neutered and have spent some time living with a dog, so would be willing to do so again (they're not so bad really). As Momo can scare easily our new home needs to be somewhere that is reasonably quiet, while we would both love a home with access to the outside. Above all we just want a nice, caring owner who can help to put our troubled times behind us.
Hello stranger! Let me introduce myself. My name is Mucker and I'm a friendly lass with a bit of growing to do! At 18 months I've still got a lot to learn about the world, but what I do know is that I'm looking for a loving home. Now, I'm quite a reserved young lady, so a quiet home with a chance to get to know you slowly would be just the ticket, along with some access to the outside - and I may need quite a bit of time to come out of my shell. I can promise you though, once I know you better your patience would pay off; I'll be heading straight for your lap and lavishing you with purry kisses! So how about it then? Could you be the one for me? I do hope so!
